About

It is with great pleasure that we introduce Correlate, the annual student exhibition for Concordia University’s Department of Design and Computation Arts. This year, the event is a DHC/ART-Explore, Elektra, and BIAN festival co-production, and will be hosted from May 1-3, 2014 at the PHI Centre.

In a unique series of events, we will highlight the best projects completed by our graduating students, including visual communication works (posters, book layouts, surface design), 3D design (furniture, lamps, objects), web design, game concepts, interaction design, and video/sound installations. This exhibition will provide students with an opportunity to showcase their work, and to liaise with professional designers and media artists, who are invited to attend the events.

Themes of sustainability, social responsibility, and ethical production are common currents in the show, highlighting Concordia University’s unique position as a leader in conceptual, environmental, and artistic practices. For many, this exhibition will be a first step into the design and computation arts fields as professional practitioners.
