Combine 2013

Project Description

Much like stars in the sky, participants during the Combine exhibition have the opportunity to shine. A number system assigned to a tight grid was developed in order to poetically represent this idea. Meanwhile, these numbers also act as a navigation strategy to find each participant throughout the catalogue. Finally, the placement of typography is used to support the notion of “combine” by connecting the front and back covers with the “i” on the open spine. In addition, there is a folded silkscreened poster cover. To detach, just undo the bow in the centre of the book. Winning catalogue design.
