Branding identity for DÆIS, an upcoming promotional music platform, where Montreal artists can be discovered and celebrated via music channels and interviews. The name is a combination of the English word “dais” and the Middle English word “deis” which is a raised platform in a large room or hall where people stand when performing to an audience. By combining the two spellings, the name is able to poetically illustrate old meets new. The logo is also a visual reference to the french expression “de bouche à oreille” which is exactly what DÆIS project is about.
