Driverless Future

Project Description

Driverless Future is an interactive simulator that creates futuristic scenarios of the times where cars would all be self-driven. The intention of the applet is to illustrate and visualize the advantages and avant-garde situations that interconnected self-driven car systems would create. Some scenarios include reinvented urban design and architecture, advanced reliable evacuation and emergency plans, space saving parking systems, synchronized driving, and avoiding drive-and-stop traffic jams. The interaction would be presented in the form of a canvas on which the users can trigger different illustrations and scenarios by manipulating the controls and triggers.
