Time Fracture is computer program that takes a live video feed as input and fractures the image into many segments with varying amounts of delay. When this image is projected in the same space, the viewer sees a distorted image of their present self. Being so sensitive to human form, and being well-accustomed to seeing our own reflection, even small distortions to this familiar image can prove disturbing. The aim of this piece is to challenge our sense of self by reconfiguring that which is most familiar (and yet strange) to us: our own image.
