Artist Statement

Brian’s art practice explores society’s increasing dependency on networked technology and how it affects our personal relationships. Born in Vancouver, he specialized in painting and printmaking at the University of Calgary, where he received a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Fine Arts in 2007. Brian worked for many years as a silkscreen printer and designer in the T-shirt industry across Canada and the UK. He currently explores new media applications for his work such as projection, video, audio, and sculpture, while working as a creative consultant and designer.
