Artist Statement

As a young designer, Lucia believes that design should be an art in itself, educating people not to be enrolled in this actual omnipresent army of robotic buyers but to become humans again and think more deeply about their lives and choices.

The very principles after which Lucia guides her creative activity are simple and effective. Elements such as aesthetics, simplicity, good practices and self-critique are part of her ethic and, through these, she brings high-value to the products she designs. She believes that a designer should always try to put a sign of equivalence between functionality, durability, affordability and aesthetics. That is the biggest challenge.
