Artist Statement

Eva Cvijanovic is a freelance filmmaker, animator and illustrator based in Montreal. Since completing her Bachelors in Animation, she has produced and directed two independent films, built miniature and life-size sets, worked on music videos, plays, shorts and documentaries. Eva's works are visual explorations of a state of simultaneous otherness and belonging, embedded in character-driven narratives of endearing but strange beings navigating through self-constructed realities. When she is not animating, Eva is busy exploring the wild world of Computation Arts at Concordia University.
