Project Description

Graffiti is a visual statement that can speak for an entire community and embody their beliefs. This book is a collection of photographs taken during a trip in Europe last summer, and here in Montreal. The artist is interested in how each space has a layered history of graffiti. Each picture’s content has its own timeline and in order to represent this ever changing aspect, she wrote down the GPS codes of where each picture was taken so the viewer can revisit the place through Google maps and find the same, or at times different, graffiti.
