Artist Statement

Leïla was born in Belgium, from African parents, and grew up in Canada. Having travelled and lived in countless places, she accumulated a mix of skills and a style that she aims to represent through each of her designs. She wants her works to be meaningful, versatile, and fun, all the while keeping them effective, colourful and representative of her loud and ever-present personality. Structural, innovative and sustainable designs are at the core of her thought process. She takes the opportunity to represent her versatility through different mediums and styles of her works.
