Miniature Sculpture

Project Description

The Miniature Sculpture is comprised of a 38-inch high stand and a small sculpture, a 4-inch 3D-printed sphere. The top of the stand has two semi-circular grooves intersecting at the centre, forming a cross. The small sculpture is placed at the intersection, giving the impression it can roll into the grooves. The stand and small sculpture have different textures. The intended scenario is to invite the spectator to touch the stand and the sculpture, appreciate the shapes, the delicacy and the complexity of the relief and play with the small sculpture, which fits perfectly in the palm of a hand.
