Sculpture in the Round

Project Description

The goal of the project was to create a sculpture that can be viewed at 360 degrees, each side having a unique visual standpoint and thus the name Sculpture in the Round. The artist’s inspiration came from her own cultural background as a Chinese descendant by creating a sculpture fused with different Chinese characters. The sculpture can be read top to bottom and right to left, the same way Chinese characters are read in a text.
