Germán Moreno

Counter-Gleam Type, The Fischer Case, Plato, Now & Then
Artist Statement

Germán sees the camera as a pencil, a tool that allows him to document and generate narrations, create beautiful compositions, and most importantly, draw memorable visual communication material. He experiments with light by shaping its form, rhythm, direction, and reflectivity on different surfaces.

As a graphic designer, the camera became one of the main sources of inspiration and experimentation in his practice, leading him from stills to moving images, and allowing him to explore the notions of inter-media.
