Artist Statement

Most of Sofia’s projects have been developed in an academic realm, but she wishes for them to be applied to real life situations. She is extremely interested in exploring design with social impact that reconsiders everyday objects and behaviors. Most of the designs she creates is deeply rooted with the project’s historic background, and she always tries to think about the afterlife of the design intervention.
